This project features a hand-stitched annual report designed for Pacific Sunwear of California, for the year of 2012.
PacSun is known for embracing the culture, adventure, and diversity of California. Inspiration from their seasonal lookbooks, website, and blog helped push me in a specific direction. Their tagline, Golden State of Mind, was heavily influential. PacSun has an energetic brand essence, which I conveyed through the use of images featuring young adults outdoors, rustic landscape shots, a use of overlays, and a vibrant yellow inspired by their past brand identity to give it an overall warm tone and inviting tone.
